Tremendously tranquil and soothing yet vivid and lively, it is no wonder this pure and picturesque rendition of true blue was favored by impressionists. After all, only cerulean could possibly capture the essence of the sky on an idyllically clear, cloudless day. The cool, crisp hue is classically married with monochromatic shades of blue, including its cousin cobalt, and white.
