The clean, yet luxurious characteristics of the Art Deco period have always interested me. The exotic materials paired with geometrics and the bold statements balanced with the world influences of that time, all contribute to some amazing architecture and interiors. These design details are reflective of our current interiors where the simplicity of linear orientations combine with fine craftsmanship and natural, earthy materials contrast with modern metal accents.

The design for this dining room started with a dramatic Omni dining table from Century® paired with some angular chairs with gilt legs from Hickory Chair. A Currey and Company chandelier features individually-cut pieces of recycled wine bottles, and introduces wonderful green and gold. These tones are repeated in the Duralee® drapery fabric and the Lucite and satin gold drapery hardware from Brimar®. A vintage reproduction rug from Kaleen’s Restoration Collection introduces a soft pattern and anchors the entire furniture grouping.
